Eligible investments
DPS, life insurance, recognized provident fund, Sanchaypatra, listed shares/mutual funds, and Sukuk all qualify.
Invest before 30 June
Investments must be made within the income year (by 30 June 2026) to count toward the AY 2026-27 rebate.

- What is the maximum rebate I can claim?
- ৳10,00,000 is the absolute cap, but it only applies to very high earners. Most taxpayers are limited by 3% of their total income.
- Do stock market investments qualify?
- Yes — shares and mutual funds listed on the Dhaka or Chittagong Stock Exchange are eligible, as are government Sukuk.
- Can I claim my provident fund contribution?
- Yes, contributions to an NBR-recognized provident fund qualify — both mandatory employer-PF and voluntary contributions.
